I don't see how you can make that statement. Except for the Intel benchmarks heavily oriented to SSE, the Athlon/PC1600 pretty much beat the PIII/i815E which beat the PIII/i820.

Of course what we really need to see is a PIII/DDR chip set to make an apples to apples.
BTW, I agree that you reported the IDC numbers for work stations accurately.
