At exactly 11:32 I lost my quote server AND within a minute, lost my cable modem. Even my backup AOL dial-up would not connect the first 4 times.

When I finally was able to log back in at 11:45 the damage had been done. And just as I suspected, [because I've seen this happen many times before]. . . .at the very same moment that my equipment stopped working, the Nasdaq 100, the Dow and the COMPX all were slammed hard by a sudden selloff. . . with an obvious concerted short-selling attack on the highest-fliers at that moment.

I want to hear from anyone and EVERYONE who lost any sort of internet service, brokerage functions, quote servers or other technical function during the 15 minute period between 11:30AM and 11:45AM EST, Monday, September 25, 2000.

I would also like to hear from those of you in chat rooms who observed short or sell calls at 11:30.
