WIND--Wind River finance chief steps down

ALAMEDA, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Software provider Wind River Systems announced Monday that Richard W. Kraber will leave his post as chief financial officer.



Kraber, who has over 20 years of experience in financial management, held the CFO and vice presidency of finance role for five years. He plans to hold his VP spot until he retires next year.

Michael Zellner, former Applied Materials (AMAT: news, msgs) senior director of finance, will fill Kraber's CFO spot, effective immediately.

Zellner spent 10 years at the company in various financial positions.

The Alameda, Calif.-based company (WIND: news, msgs) makes software development tools and operating systems for use in telecommunications, data communications and other industries.

Wind shares $3.13, or 5 percent, to $49.25 in recent trading.
