Stephen, other that the potential for economic slowdown, the higher energy costs could be good for copper. There will be a need to increase distribution of energy from hydro, coal, and nuclear plants. Gasoline conservation measures will include application of fuel cells, but that requires motors, copper. I'm not sure the "analysts" have factored this in.
