Dear hmaly,

I was referring to the perceived futility of the actions from an economic point of view. There is, by the way, a chance that I am wrong about this.

On your political stand, this administration has to be the most investigated in history. And while problems were brought to light, the SP team closed the book last week with little more than the startling revelation that Clinton has an active libido. While I don't condone such weakness and stupidity, I also choose to be grateful to this administration for 8 years of unprecedented prosperity, unabated economic expansion, the lowest unemployment in history, and very low inflation. Why anyone would mess with success is, quite frankly, beyond my (non partisan) comprehension.
