Carl,

If Intel had a link where they posted a list of all the RIMM sticks that failed, your question would be easy to answer. Instead, they have a page which lists all the RIMMs that passed.

Please post the link. All I've been able to find on the Intel site is a link to the Rambus RIMM validation page, which tells me that Rambus supplies the central clearinghouse activity of verifying that all RIMMs meet spec and will work interchangeably. No one does that for DDR that I can find.

So if you want to know the difference, the way to do it would be to make a list of all the memory makers that have announced production of RDRAM samples, but have not had their RIMMs okayed. That would be a rather extensive list,

Please provide this list as well.

TIA,

Dave
