IMHO, the next announcement will be better than expected (Newton, Emate, 3400, etc ...). And the 4th Q will include OS8 sales and higher licensing fees. The company can break-even on $1.8 billion sales (my lowest estimate is $1.7) - and have about $100m profit (80 cents per share for the quarter!) on $2.3b sales (optimistic). My best guess is 25 cents profit for the 4th quarter - what is yours?

Why not? Rhapsody on Intel is to entice Wintel owners to switch. PPC is still a better way for MAC users.

Mac OS 8 is here soon, and Rhapsody is not "incompatible". With Connectix Virtual PC, this will be the jack-of-all-trades OS.

We have a fundamental difference of opinion. That is what markets are all about ... time will tell.
