Glenn, I realize days like yesterday don't repeat your self often, so
that was cause for celebration, indeed.

Based on Kurlak's of ML and int. rate news Intel went up tuesday.
Acording to Kurlak margins are less important because growth rate target was
increased from 25% to 30%. (This is mainly due to higher asp for intel chips).
Now extra 5% would mean an extra 5%/125% in expected revenue which is
pretty good but less than 5%. That indicates that intel can afford to
drop margins by less than 5% which would translate to less than 3% in gross margins.
Since Kurlak is downplaying margins it is likely that he expects them to
drop. And since 5% is usually within margin of error the expected drop is likely to be
more than 5%.

The conclusion might be is that Kurlak is trying to put a positive spin
on a bad news. Of course, keep in mind that the above is just speculations and have no
factual basis.
