The ties of nortel and infospace are rooted in blood relationship thru Saraide ...Saraide's basic technology would seem to have originated (spin off) from nortel and microcell who are also investors in Saraide. Also you may recall saraide head technical guy came from there.....

In the joint proxy on page 106 it says Saraide is developing a fundamental operating system called distributed networked system platform "DNSP" but a few years back that was a joint venture project of these two companies nortel and microcell.....so it would seem Nortel's recent announcement that it was working with infospace was more like a son coming back to work with papa
