Hello Hatim,
Thank you for keeping us advised. Your efforts are the primary reason for my keeping the faith, in Wi-Lan.

Regarding the FCC and their latest decisions.
As you may know I served in the FAA as an Electronic Technician & Systems Specialist for several decades and
can tell you that the 1980s decade did untold damage to the effectiveness of many US Government regulatory agencies.
.
It is my (personal opinion) ... based on the 1980's successful efforts to render ineffective those fine Agencies... that the FCC can no longer
make decisions primarily based on what's good for the general public.

I think their first wrong decision was their apparent
capitulation to the Home RF Alliance, in spite of the
very sound arguments put forth by the BlueTooth, and Wireless Ethernet Organizations.

I feel that they must continue their wrong-headed support for Wide Band Frequency Hopping technology, and for sure
Wi-Lan's W-OFDM represents too much of a threat to that
WBFH technology .. and thus can not possibly be supported by them (in the 2.4 GHZ) band.

I have reviewed your Hopper DSSS & MC-DSSS specifications,
and wonder though, should Wi-Lan (with a possible partnership with Philips) create new miniaturized Hopper versions
of that technology for the 2.4 GHZ band?

Respectfully,
Mardy.
