Dan,

Not once, but twice, I have emailed IR with the meat of tommysdad's post that concerned NZYM's potential markets.

>Frankly, I don't see that ratio changing all that much going forward. Of compounds that I know of that are in development at various companies, less than 10% would use an amino acid building block. Just about the first thing any medicinal chemist does when he finds an amino acid moiety in a lead compound is to change it to something else. Just look at the HIV protease inhibitors: by and large, their PK and PD parameters are terrible. If people weren't dying every day from this disease, most of those compounds would not have made it to the clinic.< Emphasis mine.

It's been two weeks since my first query, and . . . nada. It can't take that long for NZYM's IR to get one of their scientist's to come up with an response to this, so the lack of response is making me nervous.

The stock is acting weak, which makes me think we're heading for another earnings disappointment. Seems to me they should be reporting soon, i.e. a few weeks. I'm seriously considering taking my lumps and bailing.

Cheers, Tuck
