I'll bet there's some intense pressure happening up in Yonkers. As ceoa+ described in forthright terms on RB, there is no product yet to market. It's a shame that Hirschman suggested (twice before) a time frame for IND submission, both of which did not make the train leaving the station.

Those particular 'suggestions' regarding a filing in mid-year 2000 most likely were ALSO a result of pressure being placed on the company both by shareholders and financial backers who are looking at their cash sitting still doing nothing. That Hirschman finds himself in a pressure cooker I blame some on him, some on the company's press releases, and also on the FDA which I still blame after this am's news re: expose'.

There is no rightful reason this process to move into testing should be taking this long.
