<<Do you have any thoughts as to an entry point for SSTI at this time?>>

Ah, the gazillion dollar question. :D I will not even begin to call myself a technical analyst, b/c I'm not.. I will point out a couple of important things however:

1) SSTI is at the Embedded Systems conference now, and as predicted, they have announced new products.. in fact 4 in a new family today! This might interest those who have interest in cell phones:

There might inevitably be more product announcements / press as they have ~25 new products left to announce this year according to the CFO..

2) Earnings date is 10/10/00..

Whisper is 0.27.. they're supposedly "comfortable" with the 0.30 that Kaufman is predicting, and have a propensity to significantly beat estimates.. beat them by 71% last quarter (wow).. Bing Yeh is extremely conservative with what he releases, so I would be prepared for another surprise.. even in the face of a move to a higher tax bracket (mid 20's to 34% this quarter)..

Reason I mention these things is that from a fundamental standpoint, the stock is ready to absolutely fly.. conservative arguments are that this is a 45 dollar stock at this point, and it's relative volatility would make me nervous as a potential investment as to a good entry price.. today marks it's low in quite some time, and the technical analysts point to the formation of a cup and handle which is supposedly quite bullish.. shrug.

If I had more money to invest, I would have done so today at the close.. anything below 30 would be a buy, without question..

all the best, and thanks.. I certainly am just looking to learn and in exchange show people what I've studied..
