I agree with others that monetization of Bestel is really at this point an unknown, but am somewhat optimistic a Bestel IPO will get done in the not too distant future. There is really no way for the individual investor to formulate an informed opinion on the status w/out being able to speak directly with the lawyers and others. However, from what I understand, there are no problems between Grupo Varo and GBT regarding the Bestel situation.

I understand that PaineWebber is in some capacity working with GBT regarding a sale of some sort regarding NeTrue. Purportedly, GBT has been "approached" on these assets. That's why we have seen no research reports recently, and why PW currently remains mum.

GBT IR believes that if a monetization of assets were to occur, and the company had cash w/out a corresponding substantial move in the share price, the company would aggressively buy its own shares.

Also, apparently the ING presentation was very well attended with a lot of interest from investors - though the reaction in the share price didn't show it. Perhaps, we will see results from this after the institutional investors close the books for the quarter, and are starting anew for the next quarter (and year, for some).

IMO, there are a few events which have driven the shares to this level which are temporary and will pass in due time. Maybe not a precise bottom – but close enough. All things considered, risk/reward looks pretty good. Everyone do your own DD - and go short, long, or take no position based on that.

Best regards.
