TV: I think this spanking of INTC is a little excessive. I mean they are still going to have sequential qrtrerly top line growth with Europe demand slow and Euro reducing sales numbers in translation. The only real concern is that they haven't solved any of their probs i.e. mother board probs, worse than expected yields. I hope the analyst ask these question afetr the numbers are reported. I mean INTC has always had problems and has always solved them on the run before it seems like a lot of this is a little overdone. I can't believe that the transmeta chip will threaten INTC in any of its traditional markets. Has INTC ever been big in the sub-compact market or has the sub compact market ever been a big factor in the PC market? As for AMD how can they be compared to INTC's productive capacity?INTC is very operationally leveraged because of their huge capacity so I am not surprised that they don't hit the ball out of the park every qrtr. especially during this very difficult transition. I think the folks are being too hard on this pre-announcement of slower than expected Rev. growth. Let us see how badly this top line prob. effects the bottom line. JFD
