The Sony Cliè was on display at my local BestBuy this weekend. I would say that it isn't nearly as attractive as some of Sony's other recent projects. For example, I always thought the VAIO line was eye-catching. The Cliè is rather bland and angular. The screen looks essentially like a Palm screen. Is it MONOCHROME???

I'm not sure that the design really sets Sony apart from Palm or Handspring. It is almost an "also ran" or "me, too" product for Sony. To be truthful, had the display case been open I wouldn't have even thought of picking it up and playing with it.

What I am waiting for the Casio EM500 to hit store shelves. My biggest fear is that it will be chunkier than it appears on the Casio site. The review I read on it suggests it is only slightly smaller than the Cassiopeia series.
