Ok you the bears have it...
Just look at these charts, finance.yahoo.com Hard to argue it is not safer to be short these days. Much more difficult to pick pockets of strength. Sep/Oct is historically a difficult time for techs. A strong August led many investors astray but hopefully daytraders were more flexible. The selling will soon abate and bargains are already starting to appear. In fact, it is lower prices and a stock pile of money sitting on the sidelines that may soon be the catalyst that will bring the tech rallys of pre-Mar back. On the down side, I still see higher oil prices and a few more earnings warnings left...
