kevin: Now I finally get it.Let me see if I get it right: I am only guessing here of course ( as you have repeatedly accused me off in the past ). So here it is:
thestreet.com
Are you concerned perhaps that " reporterette " Kathy Shanley from Gimme Credit , ( sounds a lot like a song I knew, " Gimme Gimme some looooving right now " by the Beatles , but we are digressing here ) as well as "The " Devine Colin ( sorta rhymes with divine colon )
did NOT,
I say,
DID NOT ,
get an invitation To " The Wendt House "???
Oh my!! I am so sorry about that!!!
And such nice people too!!! Always so considerate and solicitous of Gary Wendt!! They simply loved the man!!
It would almost appear that Gary is being vindictive and giving them " The ol' cold shoulder ".
Oh well that's life kevin unfortunately.
Here's what I'll do if it makes you ,Kathy and Colin feel any better: I can send a " special CNC - long shareholder request " to Gary to invite them over for a get together and let bygones be bygones.
I've always had a soft spot for neglected reporters. Call it " the softer side of TA ".
Only question I have is this: It would be nice if this meeting was reciprocal: Meaning, after the warm get together do you think Kathy and Colin will be nicer to Gary and write a nice piece about his efforts to save a company and 15,000 employees ( let along the shareholders, pensioners etc )?
In other words: Is there " a softer side to Kathy and Colin "? Or, will they go for that ol' jugular vein that Gary's been partial about protecting,
cheers
TA

Does the market in general know about those comments? I don't think so. The only report that we have about them is:
messages.yahoo.com.
Meanwhile, others are grousing at having been shut out of that very meeting:
