Rock seeks fair settlement; trial date set

Rock Resources has been advised by litigation counsel that a trial period
of eight days beginning Jan. 21, 2002, has been secured in the Supreme
Court of British Columbia. Rock is intensifying its efforts to secure a
fair and reasonable settlement as compensation for the expropriation
affecting Rock's mineral claim blocks in British Columbia.
Further to the news release in Stockwatch June 14, 2000, Rock has delivered
the technical geological report on the Coiron property to 11 international
mining corporations. Five of these companies completed site inspections
during the company's most recent drill program on the Coiron property,
Chile.
The company is following up with the international mining corporations to
determine their current interest.
