Perhaps Scumbria is just used to being attacked and seeing other ppl get attacked by RMBS guys.. and thought this was also the case.. personally. .after seeing the Micron thread and the almost amusing flamers from Rambus in there .. plus some of the beauties in here.. one can excuse Scumbria for perhaps assuming this was also a personal attack as well

Myself.. I'd prefer to stick to the issues.. as in the latest Sept tech insider report that shows RDRAM is only in about 2% of the computer systems out there (courtesy Dean Kent, Real World Technologies) despite Rambus's best efforts.. and depending on a questionable patent and a court case to assure it manages to get some revenues for itself... you have to admit Richard that if Rambus loses any of these course cases and with most of the Dram makers not bothering to make RDRAM... either by the poor yields reason or simply because they have no intention of helping rambus out due to Rambus burning its bridges with them... Rambus the company is in deep trouble...

You think the stock took a dive when Toms Hardware first came out with his report that RDRam showed no signifcant improvement over conventional SDRAM? It will take a Titanic sinking if it loses the court cases and its patents are declared invalid.

And yea.. you can say to me "That wont happen' because you believe your lawyers on RamBUS and the execs who run the company think they will win.. but you never know what will happen in a court of law.. Just ask Microsoft.

The irony is.. Rambus will probably need to win the court cases for financial streams off of SDRAM since no one is making RDRAM.
