Big Valley Resources: Management Changes

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--The Board of Directors of Big Valley
Resources Inc. ("the Company") is pleased to make the following
announcements to expand on the news release of August 22, 2000.

The Company reports that Lloyd Tattersall, Founder, President and
Chief Executive Officer for the past 15 years during the Company's
exploration phase, has stepped down as an Officer and Director of
the Company to expedite the transition to an operating mining
company.

Egil Livgard, who was a Director and acting Chief Financial
Officer, has also stepped down from those positions to facilitate
the transition to an operating mining company.

Both Mr. Tattersall and Mr. Livgard have agreed to stay on with
the Company and act as consultants on the Big Valley properties.

Art Thiessen, of Kamloops, B.C., and Johns Enns of Chilliwack,
B.C., will stay on as Directors.

Stuart Tennant, Director and Geologist and acting Secretary, has
stepped down as Secretary, however he will remain as a Director
and Staff Geologist.

The Board of Directors has appointed Dean Mason C.A., of Prince
George, B.C., as a Director and interim President. Mr. Mason is a
principal of one of the largest private accounting firms in
Central and Northern British Columbia. His experience and
credible reputation in finance and business will be a valuable
asset to the Company.

The Board of Directors has also appointed Robert McMorran C.A. as
Secretary and Manager of Administration. Mr. McMorran was an
Audit Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand with engagements primarily
in the natural resource sector. Mr. McMorran left Coopers &
Lybrand to join Denison Mines Ltd. of Vancouver as Special Project
Accountant working his way up to Chief Accountant. Mr. McMorran
then moved to Corporate Controller of Cheni Gold Mines Inc./Cheni
Resources Inc. of Vancouver, B.C. Over time, Mr. McMorran became
President and CEO of both companies. When Cheni Mines relocated
to Toronto, Mr. McMorran incorporated Malaspina Consultants Inc.
in Vancouver, providing consulting services to companies primarily
in the Vancouver area.

The Company will be appointing a Board of Advisors shortly to
assist in selecting a permanent President and give the Company
direction in it's due diligence to put the QR Mine into
sustainable production.

The Company also would like to announce that it has moved its
office back to Vancouver from Williams Lake. The new address will
be: Suite 200-580 Hornby Street, Vancouver, B.C., V6C 3B6. Phone
number and fax numbers will be available in the next few days.
