A slander suit on the grounds of "admitted no guilt" would be ill-advised. One can "admit no guilt" for a great many violations. One might often justify doing 70 mph in a 40 zone as "I I I wasn't really speeding—my speedometer is just a little inaccurate." Or, "My grandmother was racing me in her Ferrari, but I I I'm not really guilty—was just going with the flow of traffic". Nonetheless, there's still a ticket and driving record for which to answer.

"So why did you ruthlessly bludgeon your snoring neighbor 37 times with a TV remote and an axe, then crush him with a big bag of wet turnips?" >>>Well, I'm not guilty—he just happened to be home. And snores really loud!<<<
