<<try 2% or lose your business.

This is known as a protection racket. Do you think that behavior will be held up by the courts?

Yes I do. QCOM gets over 4% I believe.
What do you think would happen if say NOK decided to stop paying royalties to QCOM on CDMA phones?

RMBS could ask for 4%.
2% is more than fair if they all pay.
They all raise their prices by 2% and nobody loses. 2% on a $100 part (hell it is not that) would add $2 to the cost of a PC. ABSOLUTELY INSIGNIFICANT.

They are just against it in principle, cause they have not had to pay. Well get out the old and bring on the new CAUSE
"The Times They Are A'Changin"!

The amount of money wasted on DDR instead of agreeing to pay the 2% and be done with it, is STAGGERING IMHO. They could have worked with RMBS instead of trying to develop around them. Hell didn't the SLDRAM company go under, trying to come up with something better?

Amazing.
