An alternative interpretation might be that neither HP nor CPQ think the exercise is worthwhile at this time. Not long ago, I think UIS was OEMing ALR's box, a strategy that didn't seem to take them very far. Is the new box out of Blue Bell? Why do I have this picture in my mind of one guy working in a little room in Taiwan, designing the system that gets OEM'd in multiple steps to everybody who wants to look like they're on board Win 2000 DC? JMHO.
