Where the bottom will be depends upon what the primary cause of the current selloff is.

If orders fall off the cliff and cancellations become the norm, then you might well see these companies routinely selling for less than book. I strongly doubt that this scenario matches any part of reality.

More likely IMO, is the BS out of Slimey Balarney has created some loss situations for several fund managers. They're doing window dressing and creating loss situations for more fund managers. Most investors and all fund managers know that Window Dressing season ends this Friday.
In this scenario, the selling spiral ends this week. But the market usually tries to get in one step ahead.

Thus I wouldn't be surprised to see money start flowing back into the sector before the end of the week with a second larger buying wave coming in October.

Obviously there are many other possible scenarios between these two.
