Bob - try a connection with new worspace. I have experienced many problems until I discovered that the V3 and V4 *.qcl fils are incompatible and get immediately corrupted when you change versions.(V4->V3 or V3->V4). When you "save workplaces" you turn on the ventilator. Saving chart layout will not help. Only charts layouts you can save are those that only refer to one security. Quotes sheets layouts, symbols files,... have no problems. The real problem is to loose all the chart studies.
