TT,

this year i wised up, at least a little. its herd-think, these september/october nasties and there's no sense in fighting the goddamn thing. cattle are not high on the evolutionary ladder and either are us "investors"; I've stubbornly learned to pass over outstanding valuations and models cause no matter how sensible, compelling they are, the freakin' herd will bring them down.

when ahaa had its last little run-up a few weeks ago I sold my entire position at 45 and 42 for some decent ching; I bought in again on Friday and have another significant position which I'll trade again when we hit 40.

I used to be an investor but no more; I mean look at this: the fundamentals have never looked better for stocks like ahaa and kopn and ffiv and cmtn and yet they're significantly off their highs and some have touched their lows in the past few months----I'm sorry, but the coinage of the realm no longer resides in fundamentals but in hysteria and that's the way I've been playing it. I'm not real happy about it cause it means that much more time behind the computer, trying to keep up with the ebbs and flows so you don't drown...

now aren't you glad you asked?.....well,i feel better now :-).

pre-thanksgiving I'm gonna give fundamental investing one last shot.
