I agree. I am not anti death penalty. But I am for bolstering of current laws to make sure all thought process goes in before a person is executed. In case of smallest element of doubt, the death penalty should get translated to life without parole or if there is further proof that individual is innocent, then more leniency is of order. As recent aquitals indicate, that had not been the case so far. Not a single innocent individual should get executed under any circumstances by the state, wether run by Al or George.
