This is a rehash of old news. We knew that Goodlatte was still trying to mobilize the Christian Right with the talk shows.

And the Internet Gambling Funding...Act stalled in the Judiciary Committee.

Plus there are only 4 days of votes next week in Congress before they adjourn. H.R. 3125 ain't on the calendar this week. I think it is a stretch to think they would debate H.R. 3125 after the targeted date for adjournment.

Plus we now have H.R. 5020 which was introduced over the August recess by John Conyers. This is clearly the administration's bill. So it is more likely Democrats will support this bill. We can expect some Democrats who voted for H.R. 3125 to shift their support to this bill.

Plus there is the threat of Presidential veto.

So considering all this Mr. Goodlatte has an uphill battle. I think we have done too good a job bringing the reps up to speed on this bill for it to sneak by.
