John -

As part of President Clinton's Welfare Reform policy, he has instructed the Department of Justice to assign 30% of Intel's forthcoming PRE-TAX profits to AMD and 20% to CYRIX.

This corporate welfare, much like our social welfare system, will "equalize the playing field", and reward AMD and Cyrix who, afterall, are only victims of their own incompetence. Intel, therefore, must be punished for being so successful.

This policy will bring corporate welfare reform in line with the social welfare program. As K. Marx once said "From those according to their ability, to those according to their need". Was he a Democrat or what?

Besides, we all know it is a waste of time and energy to work hard, create, innovate, invest and prosper. Let the other guy do all that!
