Michael, >For semis I have placed limit orders in at prices which are at half their highs.< Some TA adherents wait for a decisive move UP from the bottom before buying, as you know. While it seems silly to intentionally buy higher than you could, it removes some downside risk. This has served me well with LU, which seemed a great bargain to me at 40 and is now at 30.
