I could not have gotten through this year without a vision and my goals......and having written those visions and goals down, framed it and placed next to my computer..........I am still living them. Here is a short story on vision: There is a research study where college students who played basketball were broken into three different groups. The first group went to the gym every day and practiced shooting foul shots. The second group sat in a room, closed their eyes and visualized successfully making foul shots. The third group did nothing. After 30 days, each group ws tested on how well they did compared to their performance one month earlier. As we expect, the group that did nothing showed no improvement. Their skills had even slipped a little. The group that went to the gym for half an hour everyday, improved their foul shooting by 24%. And the group that simply visualized shooting the shots successfully--in their minds--was 23% better than they were before!
