I think I will load up my car with silver and head for Denver. Are they buying at high prices, too ??

Shipping isn't too bad, but you need to order several hundred ounces to make it worthwhile.
AJPM has "1000 Ounces or more we pay for shipping and insurance"

When I was a part-time coin dealer, I hated bullion. I used to drag 500 ounces of silver to a show and be lucky to make 20-25 cents per ounce. I soon switched to only coins and then to stuff in the $25-$250 area where you could get decent markups (under $25 - too much hassle, over $250 - margins went down)
