Well the free market corporate state of the united states of american sure as hell is not assisting abetting and aiding the lower income group here .

U.S. Poverty Rate at 20-Year Low, Report Says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - America's poverty rate has dropped to its lowest level in 20 years with the median household now earning more than $40,000 a year, according to new U.S. government statistics released on Tuesday.
