Dave B. I don't know the answers to your questions, and I'm not going to take the time to look them up. For JEDEC approval the company's will have to go through a validation process. As for similar problems to the PC100? I'm not sure anyone here knows the real story on that one, but I do think the industry should learn from it's mistakes. I think a lot of people have a poor understanding of JEDEC, EIA and ANSII. These are powerful, related, standards organizations.
