I assume this means you have seen evidence of poor RDBMS, web serving, simulations etc, or you wouldn't made this statement. I do read Intel's messages and I haven't seen them say anything about poor RDBMS, web serving, simulations, etc performance. That's why I asked. If you are referring to someone's else's claims, I haven't seen anyone else mention poor RDBMs, web servicing or simulations etc either and perhaps you shouldn't jump to any conclusions based on pre-production silicon, chipsets, MBs etc.
