Parents are the best teachers, and home schooling is the most individualized and safest in more than just a physical aspect.

Yes, perhaps.
But I hear that the Senior Prom sucks.
Dancing in your basement with yer Mom isn't quite the same...

On a slightly more serious note:
Downside of home schooling-
You grow up only knowing your parents' point of view.
You watch others kids form friendships that you are not easily accepted into.
You miss out on a lot of fun and socializing.

I would think these are important as well as good grades...

I can't imagine what life would have been like without all those great childhood memories.
