Hi Rarebird,

I have lurked this thread since its beginning and would very much appreciate your guidance and input from anyone else.
I have never owned a PDA.

I have the opportunity to be on a beta test for NADA .This test will utilyze a Palm or a handspring. The preference of the man who wrote the software leans towards the handspring device. He knows that soon a scanner will be compatible with the handspring device but not available with the palm.

The use of this device will be to book out the value of a vehicle at used car auctions. The scanner would be a great efficiecy plus as more car could be booked. This would leave more time to inspect the vehicle and minimize errors.

The second use would be to get SI messages and real time quotes.I don't know if the handspring would be compatible. I only know it utilizes a Palm operating systems.

Any opinions or guidance from someone familiar with either of these devices would be genuinely appreciated.

The 8 mg memory is a requirement of the NADA software.

TIA

Bob
