This whole thing can be put to bed, just as prior to judgement and remedy (IMO) with one very simple act; publishing the source code for the MS operating system. It really is (I think) that simple.

No matter what concession being considered, they inevitably would/will be back for more JCJ, whether it be Microsoft, Sun etc., where theres money & power, there they are in the midst. We _all_ benefit from Microsoft's unwillingness to roll over, in the long run. The last one agreed to is what put Microsoft in this hot spot to begin with. No thanks. The best way to settle this is through the seven Living Justices. Today, Sherman isn't worth the stone it was written upon.

It *is though all I think that's needed to get US Govt and European prosecuters off it's back.

Having a more informed and astute electorate, there may have never been a need for any of this malaise. Don't forget to vote JCJ....second thought...<g>

Respectfully,
Thunder
