I was running Q-Charts and several browser windows today when my DSL service stopped responding. I disconnected from the DSL and then reconnected. That usually solves the problem. I left Q-Charts open and all the browsers while I disconnected and reconnected. I was running BlackICE and after reconnecting, even though Q-Charts was running fine, I kept getting UDP port probes from various Q-Chart servers. That continued until I closed down Q_Charts and my DSL connection, restarted the connection and then restarted Q-Charts. After that it didn't happen anymore. I assume the servers where just trying to re-establish the old connect, not recognizing that I had established a new connection. Is that correct?
Thanks,
Bob
