<<I don't really know what IS out there (and neither does anyone else)<<
How could you both assert that, you don't know what is out there, while at the same time asserting that you do know (that nobody else knows)? How could that be?
??How could you possibly know whether or not anyone else knows?! If your knowledge is relative, you can never justify absolute opinions. And...your relative opinions may indeed be wrong. Your belief that everything is relative, is a relative belief (according to your relative understanding), and it may be wrong.
You must forgive me for that! I feel like playing, but I have to go back to work, and that is aggravating to me.
You are very logical. Hence, that which takes the appearance of undermining the reliability of logic, is somewhat of a catch 22. Again, this is about principles not persons, so no criticism is involved. I think it is a worthwhile topic to toss around. The concepts of illusion and relativity are ancient, and worthy of discussion here. I know you will take my school yard antics in good fun! |
