<<I need to get a list of companies who have contributed
to GATA, so I can avoid investing in them ;) >>

It is too bad you missed the ";)", it would have saved you much typing and me much reading !

I was offended by the notion if a company does not donate to GATA then it should be boycotted. It would be equally absurd to do what I suggest above, not buying a company because it did contribute to GATA. A firm should be evaluated on its own individual internal merits, properties, reserves, production, etc.. Bringing other external criteria, such as those used by "socially responsible" mutual funds, would limit your options and probably your returns.

Meanwhile, GOLDSHEET (the website) will continue to objectively list all gold related sites, while Bob Johnson (the individual) will continue to politely say anything I damn well please <grin> If people want to hold my personal views against my website then they are probably not folks I would want to do business with and would encourage them not to visit my site.

P.S. I registered two domains:
goldsheetlinks.com
coinsheetlinks.com
