Why not go back and read my post again, and give some consideration to what's happening in this country, where, more and more, it seems that the not guilty are presumed guilty. Republicans seem to lead in this charge. Listen to FoxNews' Sean Hannity for a bit--LOL!
However, is there not a value to our system of democracy? Guilty when convicted, not when charged; the right to vote, or not to vote. Now, my problem with Cheney is not that he's guilty for not voting, it's just that he's asking for my vote but won't, himself vote for someone else. That's a distinction. |
