You could be right. However, in the past I've thought that higher energy prices and / or the threat of OPEC having too much control over our economic future would bring new energy technology out of the woodwork. Then petroleum prices drift lower and we go right back to using distilled products more than ever and alternative energy initiatives wither away. I thought the report was very informative. I don't see information like Spare Capacity data and Reserve / Production Ratios printed every day. Maybe I don't get out enough. :o)
