"I said soda for you Americans because if I said pop you would all make jokes..." Begging your pardon Mr. Isoman, only certain Americans would consider the word "pop" joke material. I suspect that use of the word "soda" for pop, is more an East Coast thing - probably North East at that - than an American thing. But....as a transplanted New Englander, I wouldn't expect you to know that. As for your idea for a new thread...uh, I think you would be better off taking a poll of how many people say "pop" as opposed to "soda." I am certain you would get more honest answers. Bill p.s. Yuk!
