DocPaul,

Congrats on SSTI's preannouncement.
The earnings growth has been stellar.
The announcement bears a striking resemblance
to SanDisk's Q2 earnings, both in terms of
revenues and EPS, so one would anticipate
a sharp price appreciation today for SSTI.

I don't expect any SNDK pre-announcements.
They have never done this in the past and
I assume they avoid setting precedents which
they then feel obligated to continue in subsequent
quarters. They did pre-announce an earnings
shortfall once in the Summer of 1998 due to an
inventory write-off.

Hopefully the SSTI news will reflect positively
on the other flash memory pure-plays
and the sector as a whole.
