I see what you mean,

As I had some time, I decided to do a little daytrading and today I was about to buy the break of the double bottom at 1446 on the SP0Z. I looked over at QCharts for confirmation and realized there was no data.

After trying to switch servers, I finally had to dig out the ContinuumClient and "fix" the server somewhere else. Still nothing. This has been ten minutes now and my focus is completely off the trade, it's on the program.

Totally unacceptable. At the very least they should have an automated e-mail alert to advise users that there is something wrong, what the temporary fix may be if any, and at least reassurance that the problem has an expected time span to be fixed.

Another reason to have more than one feed. Normally a loss of data would take a daytrader out immediately. Cannot trade blind, after all. But if this happens with any frequency I would think the answer would have to be not to complain but to change vendors. I intend to leave this up for a few days and monitor it with that in mind. One conflict would be Atin's QPnF program which I enjoy for day trading; it only runs off this feed.

Ah, just came back. Time to re-focus.
