Agreed. I moved my portfolio out of techs and into a defensive portfolio of some of the utilities and the rest cash. I'll reassess somewhere around mid-Oct. It's very difficult to determine through the smoke and mirrors how the institutional money is reorganizing here, although it looks like a mass exit from most tech. I can't rationalize chasing the optics here, although window dressing should keep the flyers afloat through the end of the quarter. After that, I would want to be very careful. If I connect the dots, energy needs for the new economy and old economy will continue to grow, and and be built out. Shortages are clear, and the upside cycle should continue through the intermediate term. I'm not comfortable with the way any of the index charts look. Does that mean it's a bottom? Or are we moving into the abyss? :-0 I really have no idea! LOL! fwiw, recent buys in DUK, CPN, NRG, ETR, and MDR. ~d
