I agree that raising the rates would be awful. Just posted the story. Personally my check book and monthly bills have told me for a long time that there is inflation. But they keep massaging the numbers so that they don't look as bad by dropping out oil (because it's an anomaly). Many people buy heating oil and would probably disagree! Since they have been doing these numbers so long, how could they get it wrong of a sudden? Sure hope that there is no political election year hanky panky. Jeff
