Ask Lindy if his portfolio is up/down so far this year. I don't think his performance is at the same level as yours. He might become famous for selling QCOM stock at the peak but that does not tell me that he is good at investing. Ask him if he is making money by making a big bet in JDSU/SDLI positions. If one could consistently make money year over year even in the bear market, I would say "yes" he is the one to listen. A lot of people make their big fortune during the past seven or eight years in the bull market. When we are in the bear market, I hope we know how to keep what we have made so far.
